What this site is
CR1000 is a fan site that shows Cristiano Ronaldo's official goal count. There is no sign-up and we do not collect personal data directly.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics through Firebase to understand how many people visit the site, from which countries and which sections they read. Google may use cookies or device identifiers for this. The data is processed in aggregate and we do not use it to identify you.
Advertising
The site shows Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings and learn more at how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Local storage
We store a minimal flag in your browser to remember whether you have already seen the 1,000-goal celebration, whether you turned sound on, and your prediction so you can edit it. It contains no personal information and you can remove it by clearing the site's data.
Push alerts
If you turn on "Notify me on every goal", we store the technical identifier your browser generates to receive alerts (a Firebase Cloud Messaging token), your language and browser type, tied to an anonymous Firebase account. They are used only to send you the goal alerts. You can turn them off with the same button or from your browser's notification settings; the token is then deleted.
Prediction game
If you take part, we store your nickname, the date, opponent and minute you picked, your language and the time of submission, tied to an anonymous Firebase account (no email or real name). Nickname, date, opponent and minute are shown publicly on the site. You can edit or delete your prediction from the same browser while the game is open. There is no prize.
Third-party data
Match and goal data come from API-Football and public sources. Embedded videos are served by YouTube. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
